Sažetak
CAN protocol is presented. The system is primarily intended for textile industry. It consists of microcontroller units mounted on each machine and connected to a personal computer. Each control unit collects data from the connected machine(s). Collected data are sent to the computer and stored into a database, ready for later processing Current. machine status and production information are available on request. Different kinds of statistics can be performed utilizing the stored data, enabling the evaluation of the time and work efficiency of each machine. All collected and computed data are available to all departments by local computer network and they make possible production planning as well as rewarding of every employee according to the job he has done.
