Sažetak
The Adriatic Sea is under threat of pollution, over-fishing and other major environmental concerns. There is a need for better environmental protection and monitoring. At the same time, there are a set of actors working in this sector and others related to the Blue Economy in the Adriatic region. Leveraging on previous collaborations, a consortium of 14 partners has established the InnovaMare project with the aim of strengthening the innovation ecosystem in underwater robotics and sensors in the Adriatic. This paper reports on the state of the project detailing several of its activities: business education courses, Living Lab, map of excellence and the building of underwater robotic and sensor prototypes.
