Sažetak
Besides medical and public health questions, pandemic of coronavirus 2020 raised some serious philosophical, (bio)ethical, social, economic, political and legal questions which are not essentially new, but they appear in a new light, such as those on the concepts of life and health, as well as on the issues of freedom, autonomy and responsibility. Therefore, in this paper I discuss “pandemic as a symptom” of deeper problems that contemporary civilization, culture and society are faced with. For the purpose of discussing the thesis, I recall some older and recent works which could be useful in this regard.
