Sažetak
To achieve high yields and high quality sugar beet roots sugar beet has high nutrient requirements, both macro and micronutrients. Fertilizing the soil with nitrogen is usually done in the spring before sowing time. Nitrates are present in the environment, ie in the air, food (mostly in fruits and vegetables) and water. Also, nitrates are used as fertilizers in agriculture. Nitrogen carry of the offering but also a nutrient that affects root quality. Both, leaf and petioles of the sugar beet leaf is important for determination dynamics and nutrient status in the plants. Also, nitrate determination is important is case the leaves and sugar beet tops are used as animal feed. This paper shows most common determination of nitrates in sugat beet leaves (Refletoquant and CFA).
