Sažetak
High levels of automation and unmanned manufacturing (AC, FMS, IMS, ...),together with continuously growing number of workpiece materials, tool materials and tool geometry, stresses the significance of reliable, fast and economically feasible procedures for tool life testing (and tool life predicting) and tool condition monitoring. This article presents the results of investigation on possibility to replace some aspects of ordinary tool flank wear with grinded tool flank wear for tool life testing at turning.
