Sažetak
The aim of this study was to analyse hip joint friction following total hip arthroplasty. The analysis comprised friction in general and in the artifical hip joint.It was shown that only mixed friction is possible in artifical joints and not the fluid one. The moments and coefficients of friction depending upon the lubricant and loading were determined for the actual hip prosthesis with oscillations and loading were determined for the actual hip prosthesis with oscillations in movement velocity.
