Sažetak
This retrospective multicenter study investigated the potential impact of autoimmune disorders (AD) on thrombotic risk in patients with polycythemia vera (PV). We have demonstrated that PV patients with AD may have an increased thrombotic risk independently of the high-risk disease status, suggesting that closer follow-up and a multidisciplinary approach may be needed in this subset of PV patients.
