Sažetak
This presentation introduces the DARIAH working group ELDAH and its latest project on data protection issues in digital humanities, the DARIAH ELDAH Consent Form Wizard (CFW). The CFW is a tool that enables digital humanities scholars as well as the wider research infrastructure community to quickly and easily obtain standardized consent forms that conform to the obligations and regulations of the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). By answering a series of simple questions, scholars do not only learn about data privacy requirements, but are also provided with consent forms for their immediate use. The CFW supports you in collecting the consent of data subjects in three scenarios: gathering data from and/or about living people for research purposes ; communicating through mailing lists or other (digital) communication media ; collecting data and/or consent from participants as the host of an academic event.
