Sažetak
In the rich output of Croatian composer Rudolf Matz, his about 50 sacral works for various ensembles testify to his contribution to this field. This part of his opus was marked largely by shorter works, prevailingly choral ones (for mixed choruses, but also for female and, rarely, for male choruses). Matz also regularly adapted the usual text of the mass for the needs of the liturgy and special performances (often with a dedication). By comparison of the year of creation of individual compositions, it is clear that Matz indicated instrumental supplementation for those ensembles that he conducted at the time, adapting, thus, individual works to abilities to perform, and most frequently for the "GDI" String Quartet or Quintet, wchich would accompany a mixed voice chior and soloists.
