Sažetak
From the reaction of [MoO2(acac)2] with N-(p-cresole)-2-oxy-1-benzaldimine, and after the adding of methanol (A), ethanol (B), dimethylsulfoxide (C) and 4, 4-bipyridine (D), four novel molybdenum(VI) complexes were obtained. Crystal data: (A) [MoO2(C15H13NO3)(CH3OH)], Mr = 415.25, triclinic, a = 6.916(1), b = 10.579(1), c = 12.335(2) &Aring ; , alpha = 68.75(1), beta = 82.99(1), gamma = 77.26(1), V = 819.5(2) &Aring ; 3, Z = 2, space group , Dcalc = 1.683 g cm-3, F(000) = 420, mi(MoK) = 0.832 mm-1, (MoK) = 0.7107 &Aring ; , (B) [MoO2(C15H13NO3)(C2H5OH)], Mr = 429.27, triclinic, a = 7.070(1), b = 10.872(2), c = 11.843(2) &Aring ; , alpha = 74.39(1), beta = 87.44(1), gamma = 82.87(2), V = 869.8(2) &Aring ; 3, Z = 2, space group , Dcalc = 1.639 g cm-3, F(000) = 436, mi(MoK) = 0.787 mm-1, (MoK) = 0.7107 &Aring ; . (D) [{MoO2(C15H13NO3)}2(C10H8N2)], Mr = 922.60, monoclinic, a = 9.2340(1), b = 13.4742(2), c = 14.6270(3) &Aring ; , beta = 96.363(1), V = 1808.69(5) &Aring ; 3, Z = 2, space group P21/n, Dcalc = 1.694 g cm-3, F(000) = 932, mi(MoK) = 0.761 mm-1, (MoK) = 0.7107 &Aring ; , In all four complexes Mo(VI) atoms are octahedrally coordinated, with a characteristic cis-MoO2 group. Schiff base tridentate ligand is coordinated through two oxygen atoms (one from benzaldimine part of the ligand and one from N-substituent) and imino nitrogen atom. Additionally, in (A), (B) and (C) monodentate solvent molecules are bonded to Mo, satisfying octahedral coordination of metal atom. However, in the structure of (D) bipyridine molecule is bridging two Mo atoms, thus forming dinuclear complex molecule.
