Sažetak
Geochemical mapping of the Zagreb soil revealed mercury augmentation in the soil and sediments of the Sava river banks and terraces. It is supported by statistical analysis, analysis of variance, cluster analysis and factor analysis. The cause of the pollution in still unknown and should be investigated by further detailed study of Hg distribution within the sediment itself.
