Sažetak
McShea’s study tells the imperial history of the Jesuits mission to New France, from their years in early seventeenth century Paris to their suppression in the 1764. Surprisingly, despite developed literature on the Jesuits and New France, this book is the first contemporary monography on the mission to span the entire period of the Jesuit pre-suppression history in French America.
