Sažetak
We are pleased to present to you a special issue of the Market-Tržište journal, as one of the three publications released under the auspices of the “2020 EMAC Regional Conference: Challenging the status quo in marketing research”. The conference was held online at the Faculty of Economics, University of Zagreb, from 16 to 19 September 2020. This special issue of the Market-Tržište offers interesting reading through five scientific papers presented at the EMAC Regional Conference in 2020, which have been expanded for this purpose and further improved through the journal’s regular review process. These papers cover a variety of topics, ranging from the issue of internal brand communication, price fairness and private label authenticity to the use of appeals in advertisements and willingness to buy electric cars. Their authors used qualitative and quantitative research methods and various data collection techniques: survey research, experiments, quasi-experiments and focus groups. The published papers provide new insights against the background of the countries in which the research was conducted, namely Slovenia, UK/USA, Lithuania, Croatia and Brazil, as well as the countries that were analyzed, making up a total of 28 European countries in the last paper.
