Sažetak
The volumetric properties of butan-1-ol mixtures with various ionic liquids (1-methylimidazolium chloride, 1, 3-dimethylimidazolium chloride, 1- ethyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride, 1-butyl3- methylimidazolium chloride, and 1-hexyl-3- methylimidazolium chloride) were determined by measuring densities at various temperatures T = (278.15, 283.15, 288.15, 293.15, 298.15, 303.15, 308.15, and 313.15) K, and up to molality of ionic liquids of 0.1 mol kg–1. From obtained experimental data, the apparent molar volumes and standard partial molar volumes were derived. By applying Masson's equation the apparent molar volumes at infinite dilution and interaction coefficients were calculated for each ionic liquid + butan-1-ol mixture. The results are discussed in terms of ion-ion and ion-solvent interactions as well as from the point of structure-making or structure-breaking tendency of researched ionic liquids.
