Sažetak
“Student Center for Excellence" is a project proposal of the Faculty of Medicine Osijek, created as a response to the market needs for fast and efficient health workers. Strategic partner should be the Ministry of Health with the support of the Ministry of Science and Education. The purpose of the project proposal is creating the center for excellence as a venue for professional training in skills labs and simulation centers, in order to properly form careers of future medical professionals. This will significantly improve the competencies of graduated medical doctors and enable them a direct entry into the labor market. This project aims to ensure that professional training in a skills lab or simulation center is organized in a way that future doctors undergo all the rotations they would otherwise undergo in hospital wards before the beginning of their professional careers. The results of the project will be applied through continuing education courses, workshops in the simulation center and live case presentations through the telemedicine system. The aim of this paper is to explain the most important elements of the Center for Excellence development, using the methodology of the project 's preparation study.
