Sažetak
This talk is giving an overview of research activities on designing novel sensors of plant- hydraulic parameters related to water-stress, with application to precision irrigation is presented. Focus is put on design of field-deployable, wireless embedded sensor system for monitoring ultrasonic xylem emissions. Also, work-in-progress on design and microfabrication of novel, microelectromechanical (MEMS) ultrasonic acoustic emission sensors is presented.
