Sažetak
Telecommunication operators have started to implement 5G technology that is expected to become one of the most significant parts of the fourth Industrial Revolution. One of the possible usages is for Broadcast TV applications. This paper is testing the possibility of 4K video signal contribution through the commercially available public 5G network. In this paper a proof of concept for the implementation of a 4K video transmission in real time over 5G network is presented. For video coding HEVC H.265 compression standard was used. By changing the levels of compression efficiency different transmission rates were tested. The obtained results demonstrate the feasibility of transmission of 4K video signal over 5G network.
