Sažetak
The use of nanoparticles (NPs) and research on antimicrobial activity is increasing. The use of NPs in catheters, on medical textiles and other surfaces in the healthcare settings is still a challenge because the non-specific nature of the antibacterial effect is different from known antimicrobial agents and biocides.
