Sažetak
Overlap syndrome between familial mediterranean fever and systemic lupus erythematous in 12- years old female patient. 3. We describe an girl who presented with fever, chest, abdominal, and joint pain, with a significant increase in most markers of inflammation (SE, CRP, fibrinogen, serum amyloid protein), except procalcitonin, polyclonal hypergammaglobulinemia, neat CH50 and IgD, and intermittent proteinuria and microhematuria. Radiological and ultrasound treatment showed a significant pericardial effusion that required evacuation, pleural effusion and enlargement of mediastinal lymph nodes, and ascites. Excluding possible infectious and hematooncological causes of the disease, additional treatment revealed a pathological finding of antinuclear antibodies in terms of titer and fluorescence pattern and positive anti-dsDNA and anti-SS-A in two independent samples.
