Sažetak
Industries will sooner or later succumb to digital transformation (DT) and the agricultural sector is no exception. The aim of this paper is to (i) gain insights into readiness for performing DT initiatives in the agricultural sector based on several case studies and (ii) further test the applicability, coverage and appropriateness of a data collection instrument across different industries by applying it in the agriculture. The results show different readiness of organizations to take on DT initiatives and confirm the applicability of the questionnaire to the agri-sector. Based on the research results, conclusion arises that agriculture has recognized the DT as a way of proposing new values within the industry and that assistance is needed for strengthening the readiness of organizations for these initiatives.
