Sažetak
Today's living demands and opportunities are placing an accent on speed, quality and efficiency for label printers. Constant increasing opportunities for brands and consumers are changing their business track with labels and packaging. One of most important facts that cannot be overlooked is that a label must look good on the shelf, but it also must be functional. Analysis of smart pressure sensitive roll label market in Croatia is given in this paper, with focus on defining thrivers in applying new technologies. Reasons for implementation of new technology from the aspect of a printing house owners will be demonstrated: does the success story lie in educating converters and students (future working force) on smart labeling processes through practical and/or formal education or are the end users and industries pushing label converters to adopt a new “must” in their own production - a smart pressure sensitive labeling process.
