Sažetak
Complex liquids, like water and ethanol, are well-known for formation of labile aggregates (clusters) due to hydrogen bonding. Simple liquids, like hexane and acetone, do not show this behavior. The analysis of van Hove functions presented in this work shows that the differences between simple and complex liquids are manifested in atom dynamics. The equivalence between diffusion and memory suggests that atom dynamics reveals signature of simple and complex disorder through memory function.
