Sažetak
Degradation pathway of dexpanthenol depends significantly on environmental conditions. If environment is mostly acid, a 3-aminopropanol and pantoic acid are formed. In mostly basic environment, 3-aminopropanol and pantolactone are formed. The aim of this study was to create an HPLC method that would detect pantoic acid, pantolactone and all other possible dexpanthenol degradation products in semisolid drug forms and determine their exact quantity.
