Sažetak
The ongoing climate changes induce many consequences in addition to the rise of environmental temperatures. This has some major impacts over the sea level and the ocean streams as well. Regarding the point of view of marine turtles, their variety of habitats, migratory behaviors, ectotherm physiology and, their sexual outcome which is temperature related, climate change is a growing threat for species conservation. In order to improve the understanding of this sex ratio biased toward females and, to emphasize the related issues with the rise of temperatures, we compiled results ofscientific studies that highlight these influences. That’s how we found that, nests are a major key considering the proper embryonic development and how temperatures may induce deformities and abnormal behaviors and, will affect hatchlings’ survival. Through this review, we provided evidences to attest the real threats faced by marine turtles due to the climate changes and, how urgent it is to implement solution in the near future.
