Sažetak
Aim: In clinical practice today therapist are often faced with dental fear. The objective of this research is to reduce anxiety with relaxation techniques by music listening or vibroacoustic stimulations before and during dental procedures. Materials and methods: The patient(230) were selected by Norman-Corah test and allocated in three groups. Music group of patients(77) subjected to music listening, vibroacoustic group(77) to vibroacoustic stimulations and on third control group(76) it was used only pleasant approach . Dental anxiety levels were assessed before dental treatment by Children’s Fear Survey Schedule–Dental Subscale(CFSS-DS), Evaluation of dental care scale, Anxiety Sensitivity Index 3(ASI), Self- Assessment Manikin image scale(SAM) and after by (CFSS-DS) and (SAM). Results: All three group of patients was a positive change with respect to anxiety and fear level and made significant difference. The superior positive effect was observed in vibroacoustic group. Music and vibroacoustic group of patients felt much pleasant experiences than previous without relaxations in 98, 7%. They are willing to repeat the same and similar exiperiences all 100%. Conclusion: Music and vibroacoustic stimulation low frequency, have a positive effect in control of dental anxiety and motivated anxiety patient todental treatment
