Sažetak
This paper analysed the judicial interpretation and accommodation of two rights – right to access environmental information and right to protect personal data – assessing the balancing of competing interests embodied in these rights, performed by the Court of Justice: public interest in disclosing the environmental information held by authorities as a value-based issue on the one hand, with the protection of private interest of businesses in securing commercially confidential data as an issue of economic interest on the other.
