Sažetak
In 2015 rescue archaeological and training explorations were undertaken at the site of Lobor – Majka Božja Gorska. The goal of the activities was to archaeologically explore the area along the exterior northern part of the Baroque cincture and continue the work initiated in 2014, so that the rehabilitation of the foundations and lower part of the foundation formation and cincture could begin. A space 18 m long and 2 m wide was opened along the northeast section of the cincture. The archaeological layers were disturbed considerably due to various post-medieval and recent works. During the explorations three layers of graves were registered which could provisionally be dated to the period from the 11th to 14th centuries. A total of twenty graves were registered in situ and about thirty or so clusters of bones which testify to the partly or completely destroyed graves. The youngest layers of graves can be connected with the late period of functioning of the pre- Romanesque church and Romanesque church (12th- 14th centuries). The second layer of graves could be dated to the period 11th12th centuries. The third oldest layer of graves belongs to the 11th century. In that layer, grave 951 was explored, and in it small cast loops of good quality were found that ended with three thicker parts and were dated to the first third of the 11th century. In the deepest layers along the very bedrock a few pits were excavated as well as the remains of a floor from the Late Bronze Age. During excavations in the upper, younger layers of earth tens of small coins were found (14th -17th centuries).
