Sažetak
Based on an analysis of authentic archival material – the marriage records of the parish of St Tryphon in Kotor – this paper presents and analyses the migration of women in the 18th century. The emphasis in this process, to the extent permitted by the sources, is on the analysis of number, place of origin and the migration areas of women who were registered in the parish records as immigrants to Kotor. The choice of spouse is also considered, as well as the issue of inclusion into the social life of Kotor at the time.
