Sažetak
Fluorescence imaging is emerging as promising and powerful means for monitoring various bioactive molecules in living systems, which is thanks to its remarkable advantages, such as easy operation, high sensitivity and high temporal- spatial resolution. Therefore, many fluorescent probes for various bioactive molecules have been reported in recent years, which has facilitated progress in cell biology and therapeutics imaging. Contributed by the various emission properties at different aggregate states, pyrene derivatives have been extensively used as signal units in structural studies of biomolecules and molecule sensing. Pyrene is an efficient chromophore with excellent fluorescent quantum yield and efficient excimer emission that makes it useful as a fluorescence sensor. To regulate the fluorescence behaviors of pyrene-derived fluorophores, the assistance of self-complementary groups has been proved to be an efficient way to modulate the aggregating states of pyrene-related fluorophores. Herein, we report on the design and synthesis of novel bis(triazolylpyrene)-derived retro-peptide fluorophores, their photophysical and self- aggregation properties, as well as confocal fluorescence microscopy studies.
