Sažetak
One of the main factors that are impacting the quality of today’s life is ecological sustainability, trends that are showing increasing average age and overloaded health care system. This is one of the main reasons for increasing needs for continuous improvement of organizational processes and quality of healthcare service. Lean 6sigma is one of the most common methodologies that are used for improvement that are proving their use in the healthcare system. Healthcare organizations and their processes are one of the more challenging things that have to be improved. The main reason for this is the fact that non-conformities and mistakes can result in death or decreased quality of life. In the other hand, healthcare institutions are one of the largest users of money that is provided by the state budget. Decreasing costs, increasing efficiency and productivity of the health care system will directly impact the quality and the pleasure of society and overall spends of the state budget.
