Sažetak
The quality of life influenced by the more frequent and dynamic changes in society is decreasing. With the emergence of new customer demand for health services, healthcare organizations need to adapt and optimize their processes to comply with newly defined requirements. But customer demands are not the only ones that correlate with the improvement of the process. Positive laws and norms defining quality management systems for health organizations impose imperatives for continuous improvement of the process as well as measurement of customer satisfaction of their services. Process improvements do not only affect buyers’ satisfaction, but also reduce the cost of running the process as well as the flow of resources in the process. Improving the process of each health organization within the health system of the state improves the overall health system, which is of particular importance in the conditions 312 of increased health care and the decline in the efficiency of services. Only through ongoing improvements can health organizations respond to rising demands from the environment
