Sažetak
Organisational culture can be considered one of the measures of improving decision-making in any organisation, regardless of the country or the activity of the organisation. This is because the prevailing organisational culture of an organisation or broader activity can be adapted to those forms of organisational culture, which are dominant in Western countries. Furthermore, it is implicitly assumed that the quality of business decision- making can be measured against certain organisational cultures in developed countries. In order to explore this hypothesis in an actual situation, an empirical study was conducted among managers in Croatian tourism. The study has determined that a creative form of organisational culture prevails due to the openness of the majority of managers towards change. This allows for the application and development of a range of innovations as a part of the possible measures for improving the business decision-making process, one of the most important being the quantitative methods of decision-making.
