Sažetak
The paper describes preparation, design, implementation and execution of prototype application based on Augmented Reality (AR) technology. Application is targeted primarily at freshman students at Faculty of Geodesy to help them to orientate themselves in the Faculty building. With the use of ground plan of the Faculty printed and graphically edited as a poster, student can explore the faculty space and learn various information about the faculty organization. The poster is used as a so-called AR marker on which the virtual objects are displayed. Additionally, student can choose an area of interest, e.g. student administration office, and a built-in application functionality will navigate the student from a poster location to the administration office using virtual guidelines. The application was made using Unity software and AR SDK Wikitude and exported as Android application.
