Sažetak
Communication within an educational institution involves complex issues since it is the process of interaction of people who influence each other by shaping, sending, receiving, interpreting, and reciprocating messages, thoughts, experiences, ideas and feelings (Tatković et al., 2016). Communication at school is essentially based on interpersonal communication where an important part of it is not just a relationship between a professor and a student, but also the relationships between fellow teachers and employees. Communication and interpersonal skills are of particular importance in the occupations that are centered on people and their social environment (Ajduković, 2014, as cited in Polić, 2017). The way of communicating in an organization stimulates or reduces productivity, shapes interpersonal relationships and influences individual or group development (Reardon, 1998). It is therefore essential for employees to be aware of their communication competence and to constantly develop it.
