Sažetak
The objective of this study was to establish the basic biomechanical parameters of the standing shooting position of a top/class competitors in the women`s category, as well as to compare the obtained results with the theoretical principles available in relevant literature. Acquisition and processing of the relevant data were done in accordance with the APAS system standards, specially adopted to meet the requirements of this study. In this respect, another four points, by which the shape of a P-70 air rifle was modeled, were added to the 14-segment body model described by 18 referential points. The basic measurements were performed during specially organized training at which the subject shoot 35 shoots. The analyzed position was the one in which the best result was scored (10.9). The obtained data on the values of biomechanical parameters of the subject&#8217 ; ; s standing position are in accordance with the values described in literature, except for the parameters showing certain differences in the angles between the right upper arm and the torso, and angle of the left elbow and the feet angle. The obtained results will be used in the process of teaching and improvement of the standing position, as well as for more objective observation and correction of errors in the shooting position technique, which will certainly contribute to achievement of better shooting results.
