Sažetak
In this research perinatal factors which are obtained by following the children with Child's health card in three different counties of the Republic of Croatia (County of Međimurje, County of Sisak and Moslavina and County of Šibenik and Knin) took into consideration. Number of 1571 children, were filled the criteria for including into this research. In statistical analyses univariate methods are used, chi-squared test, Fischer's test, univariate variance analyses (ANOVA), and programme package SAS system on Windows 95 platform. It is analysed the influence of maternal factors as well as child's factors on child's growth and development during the first year of life. Among maternal factors used in this research, statistical significant difference is noticed only concerning their age at delivery between observed counties (P = 0, 0001). Concerning to the child's factors, differences are noticed in the values of their antropometric parameters at delivery regard to child's sex and the county ; differences are noticed also in antropometric parameters dynamics during the first year of life, speccialy concerning to the sort of nutrition. Summary can be said that in the child's growth and development during its first year of life, factors from the child's part are dominant.
