Sažetak
Recently, Pacific Biosciences improved their sequencing chemistry and sequencer performance, which resulted in a novel protocol enabling high- fidelity (HiFi) fragments. These single molecule real-time HiFi reads offer high accuracy while maintaining the length of longer reads. Current state of the art software for analyzing DNA reads were not developed to utilize that. The main subject of this thesis is exploiting the length and accuracy of HiFi reads. New methods, which adapt less sensitive approaches, for finding overlaps and mapping of DNA HiFi reads are explored and tested
