Sažetak
Active elements enrich electromagnetic structures providing properties such as power amplification, nonreciprocal response, dynamic reconfigurability and dynamic tunability, which overcome fundamental limitations of passive structures. Reflection amplifiers are a group of one-port active elements that increase the power of an incident electromagnetic wave upon reflection. Despite the potential in antenna gain enhancement and miniaturization, their application in electromagnetic structures is still challenging due to instability issues. This work presents a verified approach to ensure stability of systems based on reflection amplifiers.
