Sažetak
Abstract Community health nursing represents today the indispensable cornerstone of Slovenian and Croatian primary health care. In recent years, its role is increasing, because we live in a time that is greatly characterized by an aging population, which is carrying an increased number of potential users of community health nursing activities. The main carrier of the community health nursing is a nurse. Community health nursing can be organized as an organizational unit of primary health care in health centers or as a standalone service. In Slovenia, community health nursing could be performed also based on a granted concession, but not in Croatia. This paper examines the legal regulation of community health nursing in two countries, Slovenia and Croatia, which have common historical roots, but nowadays the legal regulation of community health nursing in both countries shows differences.
