Sažetak
The thesis presents a comparative analysis of two Croatian translations of James Joyce’s Ulysses conducted with the purpose of testing the retranslation hypothesis. The conducted research brings into question the applicability of the dichotomoy of domestication vs. foreignization as a single parameter to be used when inspecting the "closeness" of a first and subsequent translations to the source text.
