Sažetak
There is no systematic learning about health, about illness, about medication or about death in the Bible. As expected, the Bible talks about the biological understanding of health, according to the medical knowledge from these ancient times. The Bible does not define those biological concepts and ideas as defined by modern science. However, it could be said that today's science treats man in the physical and metaphysical sense similarly to the Bible - as unique and most perfect being, as the being that establishes a relationship with the world in which he lives. It follows, that health means complete physical, mental and social well-being, balance of all human determinants. The disease involves disruption of the existing balance and disturbed maintaining of the vital functions. Death is the irreversible cessation of all biochemical processes that results in the death of tissue and organs. The biblical understanding of these biological definitions implies an important component of human life - the relationship of man to God.
