Sažetak
Paper presents a diachronic overview of the memorial marking of Kumrovec that has been turned from socialist heterotopia, idealized Yugoslavia in small, into a place where numerous abandoned buildings - which are the work of renowned modernist architects and some of which have received prestigious architectural awards – are left to decay for the last 20 years, despite the protests and initiatives coming from the local community.
