Sažetak
The study included 198 patients hospitalized at Intensive care unit of the Clinical Hospital Centre Osijek from 1st January 2018 to 31st December 2018, sampled for tracheal aspirates. The data were obtained from the disease history analysis, therapeutic charts, and 443 tracheal aspirate samples. Pathogens were identified and the number of leukocytes in the aspirate sample was recorded. The data were compared with the systemic inflammatory response markers and the outcome of the treatment.
