Sažetak
The collection of papers Disrupting Historicity, Reclaiming the Future is a result of the collaboration between feminist scholars from the Zagreb Institute of Ethnology and Folklore Research and the University of Naples “L’Orientale” in the field of feminist and postcolonial studies. The introduction shortly describes the highlights of twenty contributions by Croatian and foreign authors who approach the problem of temporality, history, heritage, women's culture from different conceptual perspectives and offer a feminist repositioning towards hegemonic narratives about the future and the past. This is the sixth collection of papers from the postgraduate seminar Feminisms in a Transnational Perspective (IUC Dubrovnik, 2007– ) and the first volume in the new series Materia Postcoloniale / Postcolonial Matters at the University of Naples “L’Orientale”.
