Sažetak
American Foulbrood (AFB) is a serious honeybee disease and it causes significant losses to apiculture economy in general. In this survey losses of honeybee colonies caused by AFB , procedures after determination of Paenibacillus larvae at apiary and opinions about early detection of disease we handed out a questionnaire at the anual beekeeping convention 2011.Based on results of questionnaire we can conclude that with better communication between beekeepers and doctors of veterinary medicine, correct and fast diagnostic procedures and good organized improvement and eradication of disease we can reduce AFB prevalence to minimum level.
