Sažetak
Introduction: One of the most common symptoms of AN is the absence of a menstruation cycle. Sometimes this is the first symptom recognized by parents since this disorder mostly develops in adolescence. Objective: The question for gynecologists is weather to treat amenorrhea and how. Methods: We conducted a retrospective study on the incidence of prescribing hormonal therapy in our Clinic Results: In cases of severe osteoporosis there was a higher incidence of prescribing hormonal treatment in patients with AN. Conclusions: Some gynecologists treat the symptom with OHK and some with HRT. Hormonal treatment in some cases is recommended, and does it improve the prognosis of the disease?
