Sažetak
This report presents the engineering design of the Heavy Rope Overhead Crane #2 (HROC#2) remotely handled system based on the engineering design of the HROC#1 proposed in 2018. Structural analysis of the HROC#2 components is performed. The main 6 DOF kinematic functions are enabled and explained. Mechanical and electrical design is outlined. The absolute control system is suggested. The components of HROC#2 are sized for 100 t payload. Furthermore, HROC#2 is designed to lift the TIR plug and both RIR plugs.
