Sažetak
The sermon on Good Friday from the 15th-century Glagolitic Kolunić Miscellany belongs to the corpus of sermons within Croatian medieval passion heritage. It is a sort of a group of prose passion-themed sermons that appear in various collections of sermons (sermones de tempore, sermones quadragesimales). In this paper, for the first time, a literary-historical and linguistic analysis of the sermon on passion from the Kolunić Miscellany was conducted. Its text has been compared with popular works by Western European authors (Venerable Bede, Bernard of Clairvaux, Bonaventure), which have strongly influenced the development of passion texts in general. The linguistic analysis showed that in addition to the Church Slavonic, Chakavian and Kajkavian strata, both Grecisms/ Latinisms and Germanisms were witnessed. The text represents a contribution to the better acknowledgment of passion heritage created in the Lika area.
