Sažetak
The relevance of the tourism industry in the Croatian economy is daily increasing. The hotel industry is a significant part of this industry acting as the main „producer“ of accommodation for tourists that Croatia hosts every year. This work is an attempt to briefly describe the development of the hotel industry in Croatia and the changes imposed by the development of society and tourism in this sector. Through the comparison of two hotels situated on the Dalmatian coast, this paper shows the diversity of offers in price and services. Based on this comparisons and findings about the hotel industry, a conclusion was made about the chosen topic.
