Sažetak
This paper is a presentation of the results of a research study in Croatia. They point to higher levels of willingness to communicate (WTC) and higher achievement in speaking skill among bilingual than among monolingual learners. A significant positive relationship between WTC and achievement in speaking EFL was established in monolingual learners.
